10:00 – 10:50 a.m. – Rector’s Forum: Queer Faith – The Struggle for Full Embracing of LGBTQ Persons in Christianity, Islam and Judaism October 11 is National Coming Out Day and we are observing it with a stellar interfaith panel of queer leaders reflecting on the coming out process in their faith traditions. Panelists include Blair Imani, Heather Miller, and Kelly Erin O’Phelan … with Thomas Diaz
11:00-11:15 a.m. – Chapel Time (two options)
Children’s Chapel – Kelly Erin O’Phelan invites everyone to light a candle and enjoy a story and a craft.
Meditative Chapel – This chapel time aims to be a liminal space between the hustle of life and household and a more tranquil, worshipful mindset. We’ll have a reading and a moment of meditation, you’ll just need yourself and a candle if you have one. Link will be provided on Sunday morning.
11:15 a.m. Service – Alfredo Feregrino preaches. Canterbury & Coventry Choir Soloists offer Cantate Domino by Schumacker. Trouvères offer Now I Walk in Beauty arr. by Smith.
1:00 p.m. Bilingual Spanish/English Service – Alfredo Feregrino preaches. Dan Cole & ensemble and Trouveres offer music.
