On Sunday, February 17, Susan Russell will preach at 7:30, 9:00 and 11:15 a.m.  Mike Kinman preaches at the 1:00 p.m. Spanish language service. At 9 & 11:15 a.m. Coventry Choir offers the spirituals I Can Tell the World arr. by Hogan and O nata lux by Tallis and at 1:00 p.m. music is offered by Dan Cole and the 1pm Ensemble.

In the Rector’s Forum: Off to the Oscars!
with Kenneth Turan
Los Angeles Times film critic and author Kenneth Turan will give his annual pre-Academy Awards look at what’s hot and what’s not in recent film festivals and in the Oscar race. Kenneth is also film critic for National Public Radio’s Morning Edition as well as the director of the Los Angeles Times Book Prizes. He has been a staff writer for the Washington Post as well as the Times’ book review editor. A graduate of Swarthmore College and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, he teaches film reviewing and non-fiction writing at USC. Forum.

In Sweetland Hall: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About the Anglican Communion & The Episcopal Church with Jim White
Join members of the adult confirmation class in Sweetland Hall for a presentation by long-time parishioner and diocesan and national church leader Jim White to learn more about our big, fat Anglican Episcopal Family. Jim leads us in a conversation about how the Episcopal Church      came to be and how we are related to the larger Anglican Communion. Sunday’s session will cover a wide-range of topics, including a general historical overview of the Episcopal Church to its governance and polity. Even if you’re not a part of adult confirmation, you are welcome to join in on this class.

Parent Culture
For parents of children birth-5th grade
, meet in Scott Hall 2. Parents of teens will meet in the OCC Conference Room.

Preschool (ages 2–4) in Scott Hall 9:00 a.m. — Infant and Child Care and Storytelling 10:15-11:00 a.m. — Sunday School and Worship (Rooms 2 & 3) 11:15 a.m. — Infant and Child Care

Children’s Chapel in the Learning Center (9:00 and 11:15 a.m.) Children K–5th grade join their families in church at the beginning services, then follow the banner out for Children’s Chapel before the sermon, returning for communion. Parents are always welcome to join us in Children’s Chapel.

Visit our Creative Worship Space for Families in the Chapel!
Families are invited to worship together through art and play on our rug in the chapel during any part of the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services. Families should stay with their children as this area is not staffed. All are welcome to sit in the chapel; please be understanding whenever our youngest members make a joyful noise.

Parking on Sundays:

  • On Sunday mornings, please note that the entire south-side of the North Parking Lot (just north of the church on the corner of Euclid Ave. & Walnut St.) is reserved for people with mobility difficulties.

For regular parking, follow ASC Parking signs to Plaza Las Fuentes (garage entrance on Union) or the Kaiser Parking Structure (on the northeast corner of Euclid Ave. and Walnut). Sunday parking at Plaza Las Fuentes is only validated until 1:00 p.m. — after which parking fees accrue. If you’re staying later, please park in the Kaiser Parking Structure, which is free and open until 4:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: On Sundays, All Saints Church can be a very busy place. It is a good idea to plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service in order to have ample time to park and make your way to the church.
