This Sunday at All Saints: January 27

this sunday

Sunday, January 27, is Presentation Sunday — the day we receive and bless the 2019 pledges and celebrate the generosity of those who make the work and witness of All Saints Church possible. And we are honored to welcome Tracey Lind — long time friend of All Saints and the former Dean of Cleveland’s Trinity Cathedral — who will preach at 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. Retired in 2017, Tracey’s ministry has included work for social and environmental justice, interfaith relations, sustainable urban development, arts and culture, and progressive theology.  Most recently, it has extended to include the spiritual insights and lessons she has gained from a life complicated by dementia.

Mike Kinman will preach at the 7:30 a.m. service and Antonio Gallardo will preach at the 1:00 p.m. Spanish service.

Live-stream the Forum at 10:15 and the 11:15 service here.

During the 10:15 a.m. Hour:

Rector’s Forum
with Tracey Lind & Emily Ingalls
On Nov. 8, 2016 (Election Day), Tracey was diagnosed with the early stages of Frontotemporal Degeneration. This diagnosis hasn’t stopped her from fully immersing in what life has to offer — and what she has to give. Emily spent more than 20 years in commercial real estate and project management. She was an early proponent of sustainable buildings. In 2000, she championed the “greening” of Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland, helping to create the city’s first sustainable building. She now describes herself as “Chief Logistics Officer” responsible for managing a life and home turned upside down by dementia. Come and be inspired by their story, their witness and their courage.

Families should stay with their children as this area is not staffed. All are welcome to sit in the chapel; please be understanding whenever our youngest members make a joyful noise.

Parking on Sundays:

  • On Sunday mornings, please note that the entire south-side of the North Parking Lot (just north of the church on the corner of Euclid Ave. & Walnut St.) is reserved for people with mobility difficulties.

For regular parking, follow ASC Parking signs to Plaza Las Fuentes (garage entrance on Union) or the Kaiser Parking Structure (on the northeast corner of Euclid Ave. and Walnut). Sunday parking at Plaza Las Fuentes is only validated until 1:00 p.m. — after which parking fees accrue. If you’re staying later, please park in the Kaiser Parking Structure, which is free and open until 4:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: On Sundays, All Saints Church can be a very busy place. It is a good idea to plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service in order to have ample time to park and make your way to the church.
