10:00-11:00 a.m. Rector’s Forum – Reframing the “Erasing History” Narrative with Rev. Dr. Wil Gafney
As we celebrate the work and witness of Mary Magdalene, there is simply no one better than Dr. Wil Gafney to lead us in a timely and important conversation exploring the historic pattern of systemic erasure of women’s voices and stories in our biblical canon and how that connects to the erasure of other voices and stories … women,  people of color, LGBTQ, etc … in our civic canon. Join us as we challenge the narrative that raising up previously excluded voices is “erasing history.”
