This Sunday at All Saints: June 9, Pentecost

This Sunday, June 9, is Pentecost! The Feast of Pentecost, the Church’s birthday, underscores the poetic power of sound in wind and word. Pentecost tells us from the very beginning, church was the place where everyone heard the Word of God in their own language, where everyone heard something that said, “This is for you. This is your home.” — Mike Kinman

Mike Kinman will preach at 7:30, 9:00, and 11:15 a.m. and the festival color of the day is red!

  • Note: The 11:15 a.m. service will be a Bilingual Spanish/English service. The 1 p.m. Spanish Language service will resume on June 16.

At 9 & 11:15 a.m. Canterbury Choir and Dan Cole & the 1 p.m. Ensemble offer Let All the World in Every Corner Sing by Vaughan Williams and El cielo canta by Sosa.

Incense will be used at 9:00 & 11:15 a.m. An Incense-Free simulcast will be available in the Small Lounge.

After the services, you are invited to join us for cake and jazz on the lawn. Adult Education offerings at 10:15 will resume on June 16th.

Live-stream the 11:15 service here.

Families should stay with their children as this area is not staffed. All are welcome to sit in the chapel; please be understanding whenever our youngest members make a joyful noise.

Parking on Sundays:

  • On Sunday mornings, please note that the entire south-side of the North Parking Lot (just north of the church on the corner of Euclid Ave. & Walnut St.) is reserved for people with mobility difficulties.

For regular parking, follow ASC Parking signs to Plaza Las Fuentes (garage entrance on Union) or the Kaiser Parking Structure (on the northeast corner of Euclid Ave. and Walnut). Sunday parking at Plaza Las Fuentes is only validated until 1:00 p.m. — after which parking fees accrue. If you’re staying later, please park in the Kaiser Parking Structure, which is free and open until 4:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: On Sundays, All Saints Church can be a very busy place. It is a good idea to plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service in order to have ample time to park and make your way to the church.
