This Sunday at All Saints: March 24 (Lent 3)

On Sunday March 24 — the Third Sunday in Lent — The Very Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas will preach at 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. Jamie Barnett will preach at both 7:30 a.m. and at the 1:00 p.m. Spanish language service. Lorenzo Lebrija will preside at the 1:00 p.m. service.

At 9 & 11:15 a.m. Coventry Choir offers The Ground by Gjeilo and the spiritual There Is a Balm in Gilead, arr.by Dawson, with soloist Kelci Hahn.

At 9 a.m. Minisingers and Mastersingers children’s choirs offer Guide Us, Lord by Patterson.

At 1:00 p.m. music is offered by Dan Cole and the 1pm Ensemble.

Rector’s Forum: with Kelly Brown Douglas
What does it mean for a predominantly white church to embrace an increasingly multicultural America in a way that goes beyond ornamentation to transformation? The Very Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas, author, theologian and inaugural dean of Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary, and the rector will explore this question and discuss what leadership from a congregation like All Saints might look like. In the Forum.

Children’s Chapel in the Learning Center (9:00 and 11:15 a.m.) Children K–5th grade join their families in church at the beginning services, then follow the banner out for Children’s Chapel before the sermon, returning for communion. Parents are always welcome to join us in Children’s Chapel.

Families are invited to worship together through art and play on our rug in the chapel during any part of the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services. Families should stay with their children as this area is not staffed. All are welcome to sit in the chapel; please be understanding whenever our youngest members make a joyful noise.

Parking on Sundays:

  • On Sunday mornings, please note that the entire south-side of the North Parking Lot (just north of the church on the corner of Euclid Ave. & Walnut St.) is reserved for people with mobility difficulties.

For regular parking, follow ASC Parking signs to Plaza Las Fuentes (garage entrance on Union) or the Kaiser Parking Structure (on the northeast corner of Euclid Ave. and Walnut). Sunday parking at Plaza Las Fuentes is only validated until 1:00 p.m. — after which parking fees accrue. If you’re staying later, please park in the Kaiser Parking Structure, which is free and open until 4:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: On Sundays, All Saints Church can be a very busy place. It is a good idea to plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service in order to have ample time to park and make your way to the church.
