We welcome friend, author and religious scholar Diana Butler Bass back to All Saints this Sunday. Diana will preach at 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. services; Sally Howard will preach at 7:30 a.m. and Carlos Ruvalcaba will preach at the 1:00 p.m. Spanish language service.

At 9:00 and 11:15 a.m., Canterbury Choir offers God Has Gone Up by Finzi and His Voice As the Sound by Parker. Vox Cambiata offers Hallelujah for the Day by Ramsey.

At the 1:00 p.m. Spanish language service music will be offered by Dan Cole and the 1 PM Ensemble.

Diana Butler Bass is an author, speaker, and independent scholar specializing in American religion and culture. She has written a wonderful new book entitled Grateful – weaving together social science research, spiritual wisdom, and contemporary issues in a call for a richer understanding and practice of gratitude. What emerges are surprising insights about the power of thankful living to change how we treat one another, and how we might transform our world. Copies will be available for purchase.

Sunday, May 13, 5:00 p.m. in the Chancel. Threetime Grammy Award Winner Oscar Hernández has long been considered one of the most gifted and prominent pianist/arrangers on the contemporary Latin, Latin-jazz and salsa music scene. Oscar Hernández is the leader of the world renowned “Spanish Harlem Orchestra” and an All Star Salsa Orchestra in Los Angeles. He will be joined by Jimmy Branly on drums and Eddie Resto on bass. Offerings for Children

Visit our Creative Worship Space for Families in the Chapel!
Families are invited to worship together through art and play on our rug in the chapel during any part of the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services. Families should stay with their children as this area is not staffed. All are welcome to sit in the chapel; please be understanding whenever our youngest members make a joyful noise.

Preschool (ages 2–4) in Scott Hall 9:00 a.m. — Infant and Child Care and Storytelling 10:15-11:00 a.m. — Sunday School and Worship (Rooms 2 & 3) 11:15 a.m. — Infant and Child Care

Children’s Chapel in the Learning Center (9:00 and 11:15 a.m.) Children K–5th grade join their families in church at the beginning services, then follow the banner out for Children’s Chapel before the sermon, returning for communion. Parents are always welcome to join us in Children’s Chapel.

Parking on Sundays: On Sunday mornings, please note that the entire south-side of the North Parking Lot (just north of the church on the corner of Euclid Ave. & Walnut St.) is reserved for people with mobility difficulties. Follow ASC Parking signs to Plaza Las Fuentes (garage entrance on Union) or the Kaiser Parking Structure (on the northeast corner of Euclid Ave. and Walnut). Sunday parking at Plaza Las Fuentes is only validated until 1:00 p.m. — after which parking fees accrue. If you’re staying later, please park in the Kaiser Parking Structure, which is free and open until 4:00 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: On Sundays, All Saints Church can be a very busy place. It is a good idea to plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service in order to have ample time to park and make your way to the church.
