February 13 will be a banner Sunday at All Saints Church as we return to in-person worship, welcome Mark Chase to the pulpit for the first time and welcome back the Reverend Dr. Gayle Fisher-Stewart to the Forum.
Mark Chase preaches at the 7:30 a.m. service in-person and on Zoom, and at the 9:00 and 11:30 a.m. services, which will be held both in-person and live-streamed from the church. Kimberly Poli offers music.
The Forum at 10:15 a.m.: Black and Episcopalian: The Struggle for Inclusion with the Reverend Dr. Gayle Fisher-Stewart.
Dr. Fisher-Stewart will be in conversation with Mike Kinman on her new book Black and Episcopalian: The Struggle for Inclusion. It is a personal story of the struggle for authentic inclusion in the church which offers both a powerful lament and a hopeful message about the future. Dr. Fisher-Stewart spent 20 years working as a police officer for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan Police Department. She currently serves as the associate rector of Calvary Episcopal Church where she is the founder of the Center for the Study of Faith in Justice. We are delighted to welcome Dr. Fisher-Stewart back to All Saints Church via Zoom for what promises to be an important and inspirational conversation.
Also at 10:15 a.m.: our Director of Children’s Ministry, Kelly Erin O’Phelan, has accepted a part-time position at Sequoyah School teaching art and social emotional learning. This is a moment of sadness for us, as Kelly Erin has been a loving presence in our lives for many years. This is also a moment of joy, as we recognize that this is a wonderful opportunity for them to advance their career goals while having additional time to complete a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. This Sunday will be their last Sunday with us, and we will be celebrating them between services (10:15 am – 11:30 am) on the lawn and the playground. Everyone will have a chance to write out a card expressing love and thanks and good wishes. All are welcome for this time of bittersweet celebration. [Please note that masks are required in all areas of the All Saints campus, inside and outside, and we recommend N95, KN95, or KF94 masks if possible, as opposed to cloth masks.] If you are not able to attend on Sunday, we would still encourage you to send a card, it would mean so much! Please send cards to:

As we return to in-person worship, our guiding principle will remain to follow common sense risk reduction guidance for as long as we remain in a declared public health pandemic, so to keep our community safe and well, our in-person worship guidelines include:
- Medical-grade Masks are required at all times — both indoors and outdoors — on the All Saints campus.
- Both outdoor and indoor seating is available for services and communion will be served in both locations.
- Our expectation is that those entering the church will be vaccinated (if vaccination is available to them) and we require that masks be worn by all to protect the most vulnerable.
- Those seated indoors are asked to maintain social distance between individuals/households.
- If we reach seating capacity in the church, ushers will guide you to alternative seating areas.
- We ask you not enter if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever over 100.4°F or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or if you have had contact in the last 14 days with someone diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19.
