Everyone is welcome for fellowship, food, and fun. We are ALL family!
Today’s Featured Ministry is Children, Youth and Families
All Saints Church is a place of radical welcome. Families of all abilities, all races, all genders, LGBTQ+ families, foster families, one or many parent families, families of any immigration status, families of all economic stations, families of all ages. Check out all of our great programs for Birth-Pre-K, K-5th Grades and 6th-12th Grades here.
9:00 a.m. in the Forum: Youth Sunday: Voices of All Saints Youth
On Youth Sunday, the rector will be in conversation with a group of our youth leaders so we can listen to their experience of church and the world, including:
*What is important to you in your life right now?
*What is important to you about All Saints Church?
*Where do you see God in your life? Do you see God in your life?
*What issues in the world do you most care about? In our community?
*If you could tell the larger, adult All Saints Community anything … what would it be?
Come listen, learn and rejoice!
Children’s Chapel during the 10 a.m. service!
Kindergarten through 5th graders! Come one, come all and join us for Children’s Chapel during the 10:00 a.m. service, where children will experience music, arts and crafts, meditations, storytelling, wiggly fun, spiritual practices for kids and so much more! Children’s Chapel is a space for your child to build church community with children their own age, celebrate diverse cultures and explore who/what God means to them. Here at All Saints, we encourage children and youth to show up as their fully authentic selves every day, ask questions and love one other fiercely through modeling it for them, first, and through our weekly discussions! It is never a dull moment in Children’s Chapel, so please join us! Parents are always welcome. Let’s celebrate and connect! For information please contact Merry Simkins at msimkins@allsaints-pas.org.

Beginning Sunday: Rick Thyne Teaches “Jesus at Ground Level”
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Forum on Sundays, June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. For five Sundays in June, we’ll explore together this person who is the center of our faith and, at the same time, the focus of so many of our questions and doubts. Does he still matter to us, or have we developed a faith that marginalizes him as we work to turn the human race into the human family? Bring your preconceptions and your open mind as we try to figure out the place Jesus holds in our beliefs and in our daily lives. Who was Jesus? What did he say? What did he do? Why did he die? Did God raise him from the dead? Don’t miss this great adult education offering!
Journey of Faith – Sharing Group

Every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. on Zoom — Reclaiming the Bible
This is “bible study” with a difference. Our goal will be to heal and move beyond the misunderstanding, confusion, hurtful interpretation, oppression, and other ways our bible has been used against us. Jesus is the Word of God, and God’s Word is one of love, hope, and reconciliation. This is the bible we’ll strive together to come home to in this small group study. Facilitated by Dr. Charles Foster. Contact Dr. Foster at drcharlesfoster@icloud.com for Zoom access.
Let’s Talk about the Cancellation of this Sunday’s Spring Choir Concert
4:30-6:30 p.m. in the Learning Center. As many of you are aware, we canceled this Sunday’s spring choir concert due to concerns raised within the congregation. This experience has brought to the surface pain and conflict within our own beloved community here at All Saints. James Baldwin once said, “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” In partnership with California Conference of Equality and Justice (CCEJ): https://www.cacej.org/, we will be providing a dialogue and healing session for the Choir and Congregation this Sunday, June 2nd. This will be a time of guided facilitation and dialogue, with the hope of helping us navigate this conflict in a way that is healthy and moves us towards becoming a beloved community. Sally Howard noted in her sermon last Sunday that God “invites us to give ourselves over to love, not to compete, but to complete each other, in God’s image who is unity across diversity.” This work will contribute to us embodying the beloved community that we seek to become. CCEJ has a rich history of helping people of differing viewpoints gain better understanding of each other. Food will be provided beforehand. Please try to arrive and eat no later than 4:15 so we can begin promptly at 4:30. For more information on what occurred and what precipitated this decision, please read the linked FAQS HERE. If you have any questions, please email Rector Mike Kinman at mkinman@allsaints-pas.org or Senior Warden Al Hughes at alhughes1@socal.rr.com. See Friday’s entire email here.
Streaming at 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. (and for other streamed services and events) is offered on our website’s live stream page, our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. Check out our live streaming page to download service leaflets and take part in our action of the week.

For in-person worship, our guiding principle remains to follow common sense risk reduction guidance for as long as we remain in a declared public health pandemic, so to keep our community safe and well, our in-person worship guidelines include:
- (as of 1/30/23) Because Los Angeles County, including Pasadena, currently have low levels of COVID-19, masks are recommended, but not required, for everyone indoors.
- Masks are optional outdoors.
- Both outdoor and indoor seating is available for services and communion will be served in both locations.
- Our expectation is that those entering the church will be vaccinated (if vaccination is available to them)
- Those who choose to be unvaccinated are requested to participate online.
- Those seated indoors are asked to maintain social distance between individuals/households.
- If we reach seating capacity in the church, ushers will guide you to alternative seating areas.
- We ask you not enter if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever over 100.4°F or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or if you have had contact in the last 14 days with someone diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID- 19.
