On Sunday, June 6, we are thrilled to welcome back to All Saints Church our friend, teacher and sister-in-the-struggle Rabbi Sharon Brous. Rabbi Brous will be our Rector’s Forum guest and our preacher at the 11:15 service and we look forward to a morning of both education and inspiration from one of our nation’s most influential spiritual leaders.
We will once again be livestreaming from 132 Euclid for the Rector’s Forum at 10 a.m., and the services at 11:15 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. where ministers of the liturgy will be observing the social distance and safety protocols dictated by health care professionals and in compliance with our diocesan guidelines. We hope to return soom to in-person congregational worship and are taking incremental steps toward that longed-for goal.

The Rector’s Forum @ 10 a.m. with Rabbi Sharon Brous
Rabbi Sharon Brous is a leading voice in reanimating religious life in America, working to develop a spiritual roadmap for soulful, multi-faith justice work. She is the senior and founding rabbi of IKAR (“essence” in Hebrew), a Jewish community that launched in 2004 to reinvigorate Jewish practice and inspire people of faith to reclaim a moral and prophetic voice. IKAR quickly became one of the most influential Jewish congregations in the country, and is credited with sparking a rethinking of religious life in a time of unprecedented disaffection and declining affiliation.

10:30 – 11:15: Meditative Chapel aims to be a liminal space between the hustle of life and household and a more tranquil, worshipful mindset. We’ll have a reading and a moment of meditation, you’ll just need yourself and a candle if you have one.
