On Sunday, September 11, 2022 All Saints will host a very special Forum at 9:00 a.m. — World Citizen: Journeys of a Humanitarian with Jane Olson. The story of Jane’s lifelong commitment to the healing power of humanitarian action in the world is literally one of a life of putting faith into action. As we mark another 9/11 anniversary – a date that has become so emblematic of a world tearing itself apart by polarization and sectarian violence – Jane’s embodied leadership bringing people together for the betterment of humankind is an example which both inspires and informs the us as we continue to live out the values of Courageous Justice and Radical Inclusion in our beautiful and broken world.
An All Saints member for decades, Jane has been at the center of much of the church’s iconic Peace & Justice history. She will share some of that history and how she understands her work in the world-at-large to be rooted in the All Saints community. She will also talk about her new book, World Citizen: Journeys of a Humanitarian: a narrative of light and hope in the midst of unimaginable human suffering. The stories of the life-saving impact of humanitarian intervention, the healing power of community, and the importance of justice offer the message of hope that one person and one community can make a difference. Don’t miss this chance to be inspired by a true Giant of Justice as we revisit some of our All Saints history in order to equip us to move forward into God’s future.
Acting Rector Sally Howard will preach at two services of worship and celebration: 7:30 a.m. in the chapel and 10:00 a.m. in the main church.
This Sunday is also Children, Youth & Family Registration & Blessing of the Backpacks Day. From 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. learn about Sunday School, Children’s Chapel, Youth Group, Seekers, Acolytes, and Children’s & Youth Choirs – and register for all of these CYF programs, ages 0-18, as we celebrate children and families at All Saints! Blessing of the Backpacks will be part of the 10:00 a.m. service. All children and youth are invited to bring your backpack/school supplies to church! At the same time we will bless all the school supplies collected for Families in Transition.

For in-person worship, our guiding principle remains to follow common sense risk reduction guidance for as long as we remain in a declared public health pandemic, so to keep our community safe and well, our in-person worship guidelines include:
- Medical-grade Masks are required at all times indoors on the All Saints campus.
- Masks are optional outdoors.
- Both outdoor and indoor seating is available for services and communion will be served in both locations.
- Our expectation is that those entering the church will be vaccinated (if vaccination is available to them) and we require that masks be worn by all to protect the most vulnerable.
- Those who choose to be unvaccinated are requested to participate online.
- Those seated indoors are asked to maintain social distance between individuals/households.
- If we reach seating capacity in the church, ushers will guide you to alternative seating areas.
- We ask you not enter if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever over 100.4°F or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or if you have had contact in the last 14 days with someone diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19.
