How Evangelical Readings Misunderstand Paul’s Gospel

with Mark Nanos
Mark Nanos is a Jewish historian with a research focus on the Apostle Paul. He is a University of Kansas lecturer and received a PhD. from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. Mark will discuss the good will intention to change the way Christians have thought and talked about as well as behaved toward Jews, finding support from the way he proposes Paul’s language in Romans can be read.

General Immigration News and Updates 2020
with Elizabeth Alcantar
In this presentation we’ll cover general Know Your Rights for the home, workplace, and public spaces if confronted by immigration officials or police. We will also cover updates on DACA and citizenship/naturalization processes. Please join us for an important and engaging time together. (Guild Room)

The Circle of Life: Issues of Aging Parents
In the Seminar Room. Many of us face the joys and challenges of having aging parents. In this circle of life, roles often change and losses occur, both great and small. Lisa Bricker from Gently Guided LLC will offer a presentation: Insights into the World of Alzheimer’s, the story of a 15 year journey as a caregiver for her husband, Gary. We will share our experiences and explore the possibilities of forming an ongoing group for support, exchange of information, and education. Preschool (ages 2–4) in Scott Hall 9:00 a.m. — Infant and Child Care and Storytelling 10:15-11:00 a.m. — Infant and Child Care 11:15 a.m.

Children’s Chapel in the Learning Center (9:00 and 11:15 a.m.) Children K–5th grade join their families in church at the beginning services, then follow the banner out for Children’s Chapel before the sermon, returning for communion. Parents are always welcome to join us in Children’s Chapel.

Visit our Creative Worship Space for Families in the Chapel!
Families are invited to worship together through art and play on our rug in the chapel during any part of the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday services. Families should stay with their children as this area is not staffed. All are welcome to sit in the chapel; please be understanding whenever our youngest members make a joyful noise.

Parking on Sundays:

  • On Sunday mornings, please note that the entire south-side of the North Parking Lot (just north of the church on the corner of Euclid Ave. & Walnut St.) is reserved for people with mobility difficulties.

For regular parking, follow ASC Parking signs to Plaza Las Fuentes (garage entrance on Union) or the Kaiser Parking Structure (on the northeast corner of Euclid Ave. and Walnut). Sunday parking at Plaza Las Fuentes is only validated until 1:00 p.m. — after which parking fees accrue. If you’re staying later, please park in the Kaiser Parking Structure, which is free and open until 4:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: On Sundays, All Saints Church can be a very busy place. It is a good idea to plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the service in order to have ample time to park and make your way to the church.
