The Vestry of All Saints Church met on Tuesday evening, January 22. In addition to its regular agenda items of reports from committees and task forces, the vestry spent the bulk of the meeting receiving updates from Budget and Giving — including a financial report for 2018, updates on pledges for the 2019 program year and taking a “deep dive” into the budget as a moral document — with breakout group discussions on the values reflected in our budget and budgeting process.

The meeting also included an update on plans for the March Vestry/Staff conference, a report from vestry member Dave Moreno on the work of our Diocesan Council (of which he is a member) and an invitation from the rector to celebrate Antonio Gallardo on his last Sunday at All Saints by attending the 1pm service on February 3rd and then staying for the convivio on the lawn afterwards — which will include great music and awesome food.

As always, visitors are welcome at vestry meetings. The next meeting of the vestry is Tuesday, February 5 at 7pm in Sweetland Hall.
