The Vestry of All Saints Church met on Tuesday evening,  January 8 for its first meeting of 2019. In addition to the regular agenda items of reports from committees and task forces, highlights included:

• Welcoming Monique Thomas as the new chair of the OCC/Peace & Justice vestry committee.
• Endorsing Jonathan Stoner for postulancy.
• Receiving report from the Treasurer Jim Albarano that while numbers were still coming in, we ended 2018 firmly in the black.
• Led by Senior Warden MaryAnn Ahart, taking a “deep dive” into our Four Foundational Goals.
• Receiving the slate of nominees for election to the vestry at the 2019 Annual Meeting
• Expressing appreciation to Antonio Gallardo for his ministry at All Saints as he prepares for ordination to the priesthood and a new call to St. Luke’s, La Crescenta.
• Welcoming a record 18 visitors to the vestry visitors gallery.

As always, visitors are welcome at vestry meetings. The next meeting of the vestry is Tuesday, January 22nd (yes, we meet twice in January!) at 7pm in Sweetland Hall.
