Sermon @ 11:15 a.m., May 23, 2021: Comenzamos con el amor / We begin with love /

“What is radical about the inclusion to which we aspire is not just that everyone is invited to this table but that everyone has equal claim to the power of this table. Equal opportunity to shape what happens at this table. Jesus was a revolutionary … Jesus was scandalous because he not only invited everyone to the table … he made space for those who were most marginalized in the community to set the agenda.  Jesus was a revolutionary because he understood it wasn’t enough just to allow others a seat at a table you dominate, you have to explode the whole idea of dominance.”
