Virtual Lessons & Carols Service at All Saints Church, Pasadena at 5:00 p.m. on the second Sunday of Advent, December 6, 2020. In the warm ambience of the candlelit church, Coventry Choir directed by Weicheng Zhao offers motets, carols and canticles of intense, mystical beauty, including music of Betinis, Cooman, Lassus, Archer, Memley, and Stanford. A meditation by Sally Howard focuses on the meaning of the coming of the Christ in a contemporary context. Choral hymns in the church are recordings from previous years.
