Worship is the center of our life at All Saints Church and it is from that center that we respond to God’s call to put our faith into action. All Saints is a place where inclusion is expected, where people of all faiths are welcomed and where we continually live into the challenge of expanding our capacity for diverse and dynamic celebrations of God’s inclusive love. The church is open daily for prayer, meditation and reflection from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m..
We are a worshipping community firmly rooted in our Episcopal tradition and committed to growing together into God’s future. Whether gathered as hundreds on Sunday morning for Holy Eucharist or as a handful in the chapel on Thursday night for Taizé prayers, worship at All Saints always has at its center the heartbeat of God’s love, justice and compassion.
Please note the changes to our weekday schedule reflected below and effective Monday, October 1st. Whoever you are and wherever you find yourself during the week, there are opportunities to come together in community for worship, prayer and reflection.
WEEKDAYS: (All weekday services held in the All Saints Chapel)
Monday
7:15 p.m. — Monday Night Meditation: During meditation, participants allow themselves to settle in silence. They sit in fellowship in the All Saints Chapel, resting in the stillness of the Spirit. They listen; keep watch; let the healing, transformative presence work its mystery. More info here.
Tuesday
6:45 p.m. — Centering Prayer: Centering Prayer is a meditation practice that is centered in the contemplative Christian tradition. A sacred word is chosen as your symbol of intention to consent to God’s presence and action within. Your word is used to focus your attention so that when thoughts or sensations arise you return gently to the sacred word. The prayer is done in silence for a 20 minute period.
Wednesday
12:10 p.m. — Holy Eucharist with Prayers for Healing: Gather in the Chapel for an informal service of Holy Eucharist using the lessons appointed for the upcoming Sunday and offering the laying on of hands for healing.
6:30 p.m. (1st Wednesday of the Month) — Recovery Eucharist: The Recovery Eucharist is designed for those recovering from any addiction and for those who support them in their recovery. Elements of the service are drawn from the Book of Common Prayer and the 12 Step readings.
Thursday
6:00 p.m. — Taizé Prayers: Join us every week for an hour of music, prayer, and silence. Services in the style of Taizé offer quiet time to center and to reflect on reconciliation, peace, and healing. More info here.
Friday
12:10 p.m. — Noonday Prayer: Using the form of the Noonday office provided in our Book of Common Prayer the Noonday Prayer is simple and reflective, and a great way to steep one’s day in prayer.
