Breaking News: Changes to New Year’s Weekend Schedule

The following message was sent to the parish on Thursday evening, December 30th, from Rector Mike Kinman:

Dear Ones,

Out of an abundance of caution due to the Omicron Covid surge, we have several changes in the coming week’s schedule to announce.

The New Year’s Eve Service scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 31, has been canceled.

Also, in-person worship for Sunday, January 2nd, will be put on hiatus this week, and worship at 9:00 and 11:30 a.m. will be offered online only, streamed live from the sanctuary on our website’s live stream page, our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. The 7:30 a.m. service will be offered on Zoom only. Visit our live streaming page to download service leaflets and participate in our action of the week.

Finally, the memorial service for rector emeritus George Regas, originally scheduled for Saturday, January 8, has been postponed until after Easter at the request of the Regas family, also due to the Covid surge. The Forum remembering George Regas scheduled for Sunday, January 9, will also be rescheduled for a later date.

We are taking these measures out of an abundance of caution as we continue to work to protect the health and safety of the congregation and staff. As we have throughout this pandemic, our priority is to embody and share God’s safe love with one another.

Con el amor de Cristo,

Mike
