Women’s Community invites you to bring a dish, and share a meal before the Dia del los Muertos service. We will gather to share food with each other in honor of our loved ones. Share a favorite dish prepared or enjoyed by your loved one who has passed. You can also bring a picture or a recipe to display with the dish you have brought. Add the sense of taste to this beautiful service honoring our relatives and friends who have passed. The Día de los Muertos service follows at 6:30 p.m. in the Church. We will honor our loved ones as they were when they were alive in this festive and colorful celebration. We encourage you to bring photographs, garments, flowers, favorite foods, stories, or other reminders of your loved ones to put on the ofrenda.
Decorating the Ofrenda begins October 29. You may come to the church and place remembrances on the ofrenda after the 10:00 a.m. service on October 29. You may also come to the church and place remembrances on the Ofrenda: Monday, October 30 – Friday, November 3, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., or place them before the services begin.
