Every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. on Zoom — Reclaiming the Bible
This is “bible study” with a difference. Our goal will be to heal and move beyond the misunderstanding, confusion, hurtful interpretation, oppression, and other ways our bible has been used against us. Jesus is the Word of God, and God’s Word is one of love, hope, and reconciliation. This is the bible we’ll strive together to come home to in this small group study. Facilitated by Dr. Charles Foster. Contact Dr. Foster at drcharlesfoster@icloud.com for Zoom access.

Interfaith Study Group Presents: “Hard Conversations” Listening with Compassion, Sharing with Courage
5:00-7:30 p.m. in Sweetland Hall.
Led by Aziza Hasan and Andrea Hodos, Executive and Associate Directors of NewGround: A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change. Violence in the Middle East has brought pain & anger into our local communities. How can we talk with one another in ways that increase understanding, rather than distrust, bias and dehumanization? Aziza & Andrea have been acknowledged nationally for their expertise supporting communities to better understand one another in these very difficult discussions. Please bring an open heart, a mind willing to listen and learn, and a vegetarian dish to share in our potluck. Interfaith Study Group is sponsored by All Saints Church, Pasadena, Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center and Islamic Center of Southern California.

Streaming at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. (and for 5:00 p.m. and other streamed services and events) is offered on our website’s live stream pageour Facebook page and our YouTube channel. Check out our live streaming page to download service leaflets and take part in our action of the week.
