On Saturday, January 18, join the Holy Rakers at 8:30 a.m. by the vegetable garden near Scott Hall. Join the fellowship of other worker bees as we plant, weed, prune, mulch and otherwise attend to the ever-changing church gardens. We meet the third Saturday morning of each month. All are welcome.
Sunday, January 19 -- Faith, Formation & Fellowship: Launching Sacred Ground @ASC at 9:00 a.m. in the Guild Room. One of the ways we mark Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday this year is with the registration launch for our parish-wide Sacred Ground initiative. On Sunday, January 26, join us for Faith, Formation & Fellowship: Grief in Many Forms: Healing Together Across Cultures and Conflicts at 9:00 a.m. in the Guild Room. Jonathan Stoner explores the universal nature of grief—whether personal, societal, or global. It delves into the layered experiences of grief in conflict zones like Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, and Post-inauguration in the USA as well as the shared human need for connection and healing.
On Sunday, January 26, our January Jazz Vespers features saxophonist Ernie Watts at 5:00 p.m. on the Chancel. Two-time Grammy Award winner Ernie Watts is one of the most versatile and prolific saxophone players in music.
