Featured Ministry: The Holy Rakers

Each week we feature one of the many ministries that make up the work and witness of All Saints Church. This week our Featured Ministry is The Holy Rakers.

On April 28, 2018, fourteen members of The Holy Rakers gathered to garden all around the campus. During our prayer break, Norma Pierson gathered everyone in a circle to read the Holy Rakers’ prayer. Then she asked all to say a word or two about what being a Holy Raker and gardening at All Saints means and/or what images came to mind.

Here’re our offerings:

peace  | meditation | green | fresh air | therapy | friendship | fellowship | plants | purple | connecting with nature | focus | beauty | caring | mulch | life | bees | lavender | water | warrior | rejuvenation | next generation | Patricia’s tea | gratitude | sunshine rain? | stress relief | bandaids | roots | sweet treats | harmony | leaves | squirrel bridge | peahen | wildlife | new growth | harvest cuttings | succulents | butterflies | birds | children’s veggie garden | Junior Holy Rakers | rosemary | pole trimmer | Holy Rake!
