We conclude our discussion of Scarred by Struggle,Transformed by Hope by Sr. Joan Chittister offers a deeply pastoral and theologically grounded framework for exactly this moment. Chittister insists that struggle is not a spiritual failure, but the very terrain where faith, courage, and hope are formed. This parish-wide Lenten study invites the congregation to engage struggle honestly, recognize the gifts hidden within it, and reclaim hope as a resilient, communal, and transformative spiritual practice.
