Sabbath Day: Monday

After two years serving part-time as Associate Priest, Jonathan transitioned into a full-time role as Assistant Rector in February 2026. He brings to this ministry a deep love for the Church, a joyful commitment to young people and families, and a thoughtful, prayerful approach to preaching. 

In addition to his leadership with Children, Youth & Families and his service on the pastoral care team, Jonathan helps cultivate the parish’s shared life and public witness. He strengthens relationships within the congregation and collaborates with clergy and interfaith partners beyond its walls, helping All Saints respond to the needs of our time in ways that are grounded in the Gospel, rooted in prayer, and committed to nonviolent, sacred action. 

Jonathan’s call to ordained ministry first took shape through hospital chaplaincy. Drawn to All Saints Pasadena because of its history of radical inclusivity and social justice, he began discerning ordination here in 2015 and was ordained to the priesthood in January 2024.

 Originally from West Michigan, Jonathan studied Film before sensing a call to ordained ministry. He remains a devoted cinephile, drawn to the power of story to reveal truth.
