Six Summers Later: What has changed? What hasn’t? Where do we go from here?

In 2014, the police lynching of Michael Brown, Jr. in Ferguson, Missouri led to an uprising that brought the issue of police violence to global attention like never before. It is now 2020 — six summers later — and we are in the middle of a national uprising in response to the death of George Floyd. What has changed? What hasn’t? Where do we go from here?

Alexis Templeton, Lisa Sharon Harper, and Reena Hajat Carroll were on the ground in Ferguson and have continued the work ever since in very different ways. And on Sunday, June 7 they will join Mike Kinman at 10:00 a.m. in the All Saints Forum for a conversation about what has changed, what hasn’t, and what building a real movement for change looks like.

Don’t miss this timely and important opportunity for engagement, inspiration and mobilization.

Join us at 10 a.m. at this link — which will go live 15 minutes ahead of time, at 9:45 a.m.
