Healing Service and Blessing of Prayer Shawls
In the Healing Service you are invited to come forward and experience the laying on of hands – an ancient tradition in the church and a powerful experience. As we end the year, it can be a way to let go of the past, whatever it has been, and to walk with trust into the future. Also during the service, prayer shawls knitted and crocheted by members of our community will be presented and blessed.
Welcome Coffees are held for visitors after both the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. services in the Rector’s Office, across the quad lawn from the sanctuary.
Live-stream the 11:15 a.m. service here.
10:15 a.m. Education Hour:
Rector’s Forum:
Adult Education will resume on Sunday, January 7.
Walk the Labyrinth – Healing Sunday
Sunday, Dec. 31, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., in Sweetland Hall. Prepare for 2018 in an ancient and deeply spiritual way! Come with an open heart and an open mind and walk the labyrinth. The labyrinth is an ancient spiritual tool—its path winds throughout a circle and becomes a mirror of the way we live our lives. It touches our sorrows and releases our joys. What better way to begin the New Year?
