This Sunday at All Saints: Joy-Filled Generosity Kickoff Sunday, October 16

Sunday, October 16, 2022 is the kickoff of our Joy-Filled Generosity giving campaign. As All Saints Church continues to live into its legacy as a center of love, joy and justice, it does so on the wings of generosity: generosity in forgiveness; generosity in our actions; generosity in our words and generosity in sharing our financial resources. The theme for this year’s giving campaign is a call to embrace that generosity with joy as together we pledge our financial support to this Gospel work we have been given to do.

All Saints’ Rector Mike Kinman will preach at 7:30 a.m. in the chapel and at 10:00 a.m. in the main church. At 10:00 a.m. music will be offered by Coventry Choir and the Trouvères. Children’s Chapel will be led by Ahren Martinez.

The 9:00 a.m. Sunday Forum hosts an important conversation with members of the ASC Racial Justice Advisory Board: Monique Thomas, Barbara Dubransky, Bert Voorhees, Bill Gould and Mark Chase. Learn more about the history of the All Saints journey to become an anti-racist community committed to the aspirational goal of being Beloved Community. And find out more about next steps as we engage together in the ongoing and critical work of dismantling white supremacy.

Also during the 9:00 a.m. join Ahren Martinez for the arts, crafts, music and good vibes of Family Hour — for parents and children (kindergarten through fifth grade) before the 10:00 a.m. service. Parents are welcome to participate or drop children off. Join us in the Learning Center (top floor of Regas House) for music, art, and fun! For more information, contact Ahren Martinez at amartinez@allsaints-pas.org.

The Featured Ministry for Sunday is Foster Care Project. The Foster Care Project (FCP) partners with local agencies to connect volunteers with meaningful opportunities to mentor foster children and transitioning youth, monitor families in reunification, participate in one-time events, and learn about becoming a foster parent. FCP also provides opportunities to provide essential support and resources by donating gifts and gift cards for Valentine Baskets, Easter Baskets, Backpacks, the Back-to-School Shopping Spree, and Thanksgiving Baskets for foster families and children and youth in foster care. These donations are so needed and much appreciated! Stop by Foster Care Project’s table on the lawn to learn how you can get involved with FCP. Or contact inbox@fostercare.org or visit our web site at fostercareproject.org.

Join Alfredo Feregrino in our Online Coffee Hour on Zoom after the 10:00 a.m. service.

Streaming at 7:30 is offered on Zoom, and at 10:00 a.m. is offered on our website’s live stream pageour Facebook page and our YouTube channel. Check out our live streaming page to download service leaflets and take part in our action of the week.

For in-person worship, our guiding principle remains to follow common sense risk reduction guidance for as long as we remain in a declared public health pandemic, so to keep our community safe and well, our in-person worship guidelines include:

  • Masks are still strongly recommended indoors on the All Saints campus, but they are now optional.
  • Masks are optional outdoors.
  • Both outdoor and indoor seating is available for services and communion will be served in both locations.
  • Our expectation is that those entering the church will be vaccinated (if vaccination is available to them)
  • Those who choose to be unvaccinated are requested to participate online.
  • Those seated indoors are asked to maintain social distance between individuals/households.
  • If we reach seating capacity in the church, ushers will guide you to alternative seating areas.
  • We ask you not enter if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever over 100.4°F or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or if you have had contact in the last 14 days with someone diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19.
