Over the next several weeks, we invite you to prayerfully consider your pledge. You can make your pledge online: https://allsaints-pas.org/pledge, use the pledge card in the pew rack or mail in your pledge card you received by mail. You can also set up a recurring pledge donation (weekly, monthly, etc) at https://allsaints-pas.org/giving/. Every Sunday at 4:00 p.m. on Zoom — Reclaiming the Bible
This is “bible study” with a difference. Our goal will be to heal and move beyond the misunderstanding, confusion, hurtful interpretation, oppression, and other ways our bible has been used against us. Jesus is the Word of God, and God’s Word is one of love, hope, and reconciliation. This is the bible we’ll strive together to come home to in this small group study. Facilitated by Dr. Charles Foster. Contact Dr. Foster at drcharlesfoster@icloud.com for Zoom access.
Transformational Journey: Compline at St. John’s Cathedral
8:00 p.m. at 514 W Adams Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90007. The service lasts about 30 minutes. Compline is among the most ancient services of the Christian tradition. It was originally designed in the 6th century to prepare monks to transition from work to sleep at the end of the day. So, how can a 6th century monastic service speak to our frenzied 21st century lives? Through candlelight. Through prayer. Through stillness. Through song. And through community and conversation before and after the service. No fee. Register here.
Streaming at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (and for other streamed services and events) is offered on our website’s live stream page, our Facebook page and our YouTube channel. Check out our live streaming page to download service leaflets and take part in our action of the week.
