This Sunday at All Saints: Sunday, September 26

September 26 is Celebration of Ministries Sunday  — our annual opportunity to celebrate the many vibrant ministries that make up the work and witness of All Saints Church. Everything you ever wanted to know about the ministries of All Saints Church can be found at the tables on the lawn. Chat with folks at the ministry tables about ministries that might be a good fit for you. Looking to make a difference … to meet new people … to deepen your faith journey … to discuss a great book … to have a good time … to serve others? There’s something for everyone!

It is also the Sunday we launch what will be our “current normal” service schedule. Mike Kinman will preach at all three services, at 7:30, 9:00 and 11:30 a.m. and Kelly Erin O’Phelan will lead Children’s Chapel during the 9:00 and 11:30 services.

Coventry Choir with composer-in-residence Bill Cunliffe and his Jazz Ensemble will offer music at 9:00 and 11:15.

  • 7:30 a.m. — Holy Eucharist in the Chapel
  • 9:00 a.m. — Holy Eucharist in the Church with Coventry Choir and ASL (indoor and outdoor seating)
  • 11:30 a.m. — Holy Eucharist in the Church with Coventry Choir (indoor and outdoor seating)

A reminder: the 2021 Rose Bowl Half Marathon & 5K will also be taking place this Sunday, September 26.  Roads to church may be impacted by the event course and the corresponding street closures, so please see the public access map for the course map that includes closure and re-opening details. You can also review the information found on the event’s website for more details.

Our guiding principle remains to follow common sense risk reduction guidance for as long as we remain in a declared public health pandemic, so to keep our community safe and well, our in-person worship guidelines include:

  • Masks are required at all times — both indoors and outdoors — on the All Saints campus.
  • Both outdoor and indoor seating is available for services and communion will be served in both locations.
  • Our expectation is that those entering the church will be vaccinated (if vaccination is available to them) and we require that masks be worn by all to protect the most vulnerable.
  • Those seated indoors are asked to maintain social distance between individuals/households.
  • If we reach seating capacity in the church, ushers will guide you to alternative seating areas.
  • We ask you not enter if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever over 100.4°F or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea, or if you have had contact in the last 14 days with someone diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19.

Both the 9:00 & 11:30 services will be live-streamed at this link: https://allsaints-pas.org/live-stream/

(The Forum will resume at 10:15 a.m., October 10th.)
