World AIDS Day: A Local Look at a Global Issue

Sunday, November 27

As a faith community, we join in the annual observation of World AIDS Day on December 1st — a day when communities across the globe intentionally stop to remember the millions lost to AIDS and to support our neighbors living with HIV today.

Join us on Sunday, November 27th during the adult education hour (10:15 a.m.) to meet some of the local care providers treating and supporting our Pasadena neighbors living with HIV/AIDS. Learn more about the latest news about HIV disease, HIV treatment and prevention and understand the growing impact of HIV stigma on the communities most impacted by HIV/AIDS in 2016.

Foothill AIDS Project (F.A.P.) delivers a comprehensive array of professionally-driven care and support services to over 1,000 women and men living with HIV throughout the San Gabriel Valley and across the Inland Empire from its offices in the Cities of Pasadena, Claremont, San Bernardino, Hesperia, and Riverside. All services offered in English and Spanish.
