Whether you’re new to the Episcopal Church or seeking a deeper understanding of its liturgy, history, and values, Episcopal 101 offers an inviting space to explore what shapes our faith and practice. This class is perfect for newcomers, lifelong Episcopalians wanting a refresher, seekers with big questions, and anyone preparing for Confirmation, Reception, or Reaffirmation. Over our four weeks together, we’ll explore: Anglican and Episcopal history; How Episcopalians worship, pray, and read scripture; The values that guide our life together: justice, beauty, reason, and community; This class fulfills the preparation requirement for receiving the sacrament of Confirmation.
