Faith & Formation: All You Wanted to Know About the Transgender Day of Remembrance
Sunday, November 16, 9:00 a.m. in the Guild Room.
Join us for a meaningful conversation about the origins and significance of Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) — a time to honor the lives of trans and non-binary people who have been lost to violence and discrimination — which we will celebrate on Sunday, November 23. Together, we’ll reflect on how this day calls us, through the spirit of our Baptismal Covenant, to “respect the dignity of every human being.” Now more than ever, the Church is called to be a voice of compassion, justice, and solidarity—standing with and defending our trans and non-binary siblings. Come learn, reflect, and pray as we seek to embody God’s inclusive and liberating love.
