Sunday, May 3 — Final Official Visit of Bishop John Taylor
10:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in Church and on the lawn
Join us as we welcome Bishop John Taylor back to All Saints for his final official visit as the Bishop of Los Angeles. Don’t miss this opportunity to thank him for his nine years of faithful service as our diocesan bishop – for his proactive support for the work of Sacred Resistance, for his commitment to stand with the LGBTQ community in general and our Trans youth in particular and for leading us through the dark days of the COVID epidemic and the rise of Christian Nationalism. His steady hand has helped guide us through some very rocky times indeed — and this will be a chance for us to wish him well as he and Kathy head off to retirement in San Diego. Bishop John will preach and celebrate at the 10:00 service which will include the sacrament of Confirmation. Red will be the festival color of the day — and there will be an opportunity to meet and greet Bishop John on the lawn following the service. All are welcome!
