Join us in the Guild Room at 9:00 a.m. on Sundays as we gather for conversation and reflection.
In this Faith & Formation session, local high schooler and All Saints vestry member Luca DiMassa will explore how we create communities outdoors, both between humans and as a part of the greater ecosystem. Tracing a lifelong love of adventure, a history of Scouting and camping, and a deep curiosity in the interspecies relationships around us, Luca will paint an image of how the great outdoors force all of us together, and how we find God’s love from there. In addition, the talk will focus on the queerness of the world: sexual and gender queerness in animals and humans, but also how queerness can work as a mindset to reconsider our capitalistic relationship to nature, and why we should all strive to have a queer relationship with the outdoors.
