Families are invited to join us for this day of service with San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity to support rebuilding efforts in Altadena following the Eaton Fire. Together we’ll put our faith into action, serve our neighbors, and make a tangible difference in our local community.

Youth ages 16+ are invited to participate in the construction. Those under 16 are invited to build care packages that include food, water, letters and notes of encouragement, and bracelets for those building homes and those moving in.

Parents, guardians, siblings, and friends are all invited to participate. We hope this will be an opportunity to serve alongside one another while supporting the ongoing recovery and rebuilding efforts in our neighboring community. Participants do not need to be members of All Saints to join us.

Volunteers will work alongside Habitat staff and community partners on an active construction site. No prior construction experience is necessary. Training, tools, safety equipment, and supervision will be provided. Depending on the needs of the day, tasks may include painting, landscaping, site clean-up, organizing materials, light construction support, and other rebuilding activities.

Who: All families, children, and youth (ages 16+ for building)

When: Saturday, August 1, 2026, 7:45 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Registration Required (by July 20):

All volunteers must register directly with San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity using the link below:

https://sgvhabitat.charityproud.org/VolunteerRegistration/Index/11147

Each participant must complete their own registration. Volunteers under 18 must print and bring a signed minor volunteer waiver from a parent or legal guardian on the day of the build. The waiver can be found in the Registration Documents section of the Habitat registration page.

Important Notes:

  • Volunteers ages 16–17 are welcome but may not use power tools or climb ladders.
  • All tools, safety equipment, and PPE will be provided by Habitat.
  • Space is limited, and advance registration is required.

What to Bring:

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Comfortable work clothes
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat (recommended)

We’re grateful for the opportunity to partner with SGV Habitat in the ongoing work of rebuilding Altadena and look forward to serving alongside you.
