Walk through the Advent season with us.
Advent Blog Series: Let’s Keep Awake Together
One of the themes of Advent is keeping awake to the ways the Divine shows up in our daily lives and in the world around us. This Advent, All Saints will publish a daily blog featuring reflections from members of our community—and we invite you to contribute!
Volunteers will be assigned a day and provided with scripture readings to inspire a reflection of 250 words or less. Your reflection might explore a word or phrase that captures your imagination, a connection between scripture and current events, or a personal story or experience.
No blogging experience is necessary! We’ll provide guidance and writing tips to help you get started.
Together, through our shared reflections, we can listen more deeply to one another and prepare ourselves for the Divine being born into the world.
Submission Deadline: Friday, November 20

Advent Book Study: The First Christmas
What can the stories of Jesus’s birth teach us about hope, peace, and justice today?
In The First Christmas, Borg and Crossan explore the birth narratives in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, revealing how their distinct stories offer deeper meaning beyond the familiar Christmas traditions. Through historical and biblical insight, they invite us to consider how the stories of Jesus’s birth speak to themes of hope, peace, justice, and the contrast between God’s kingdom and worldly power.
Join us for our book group as we explore these thought-provoking perspectives, share insights, and discover how the message of the first Christmas continues to speak to our lives today!
