Sunday, June 18

This week we honor World Refugee Day (June 20th) by sending letters to our members of Congress urging them to continue making the United the States a source of protection and hope for the persecuted and to increase the number of refugees admitted to the US while also maintaining robust domestic and international funding for refugees and host countries.

This action is in alignment with the call from the Episcopal Public Policy Network (EPPN) … and was the inspiration for this video message from our Presiding Bishop, Michael Curry.

Visit the Action Table on the lawn this Sunday to stand with Refugees — and give thanks for the ministry of the Rapid Response Team: our ASC team of social justice activists and policy analysts who work with Juliana Serrano (Senior Associate for Peace & Justice) to help us put our faith into action 52 weeks of the year!
