Foster Care Project’s Family Connect Coach/Monitor Volunteer Training
Saturdays, April 11 and 18, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Volunteers are needed for the Family Connect Coach/Monitor program. Coach/Monitors provide support to the Dept. of Children & Family Services (DCFS) and parents who are separated from their children and have court ordered visitation. Both sessions of the Coach/Monitor volunteer training are required. Family visits usually occur weekly and are no more than two (2) hours. Family Connect has multiple, play oriented and furnished visitation site locations in the San Gabriel valley. No professional skills are required. Bilingual coach/monitors are welcomed.
