Pasadena Pride
6:00-9:00 p.m. at Pasadena City Hall. Centennial Square as Pasadena City Hall is the place to be on Saturday, June 13 from 6-9pm for “Love, Loud & Proud” – Pasadena’s 5th annual Pride Festival: community-wide celebration featuring: local drag performances, live music, food trucks, photo opportunities, community organizations and activities for families & youth. All Saints will have a table to outreach to the LGBTQ community … come be part of the celebration!
Sunday, June 14
LA Pride Parade & Eucharist: “Rise with Pride”
11:00 a.m. at Highland and Fountain in Hollywood. The Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles will once again field a marching contingent for L.A. as a witness to God’s inclusive love and celebration the beauty, dignity, and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. Marchers are asked to gather at 11:00 a.m. for a street Eucharist with Bishop-elect Antonio Gallardo. To join the ASC cohort email lgbtq.ascpas@gmail.com for information and instructions.
Faith & Formation: Full & Equal: 50 Years in Pursuit of the Promise with Susan Russell
9:00 a.m. in the Guild Room. Join us as we look back in order to move forward, marking the 50th anniversary of the first General Convention resolution promising “full and equal claim” to LGBTQ Episcopalians and preparing to continue to make that resolution a reality. Susan Russell will lead us in that look back and a look ahead to the September churchwide gathering in Minneapolis and how it will both inform and empower our ongoing work and witness here at All Saints. 9am in the Guild Room. An opportunity to look back at the past, celebrate the present and look ahead to the future of LGBTQ+ Ministry here at All Saints. From GALAS to Beyond Inclusion to Claiming the Blessing to our current LGBTQ+ Ministry – join us as we take some looks back in order to keep moving forward into God’s future.
Trans Social Hour
12:00-1:00 p.m. in the Senior High Room. Trans folks in and around All Saints are invited to join together in the Senior High Room after service on Sunday for a social hour of friendship and community.
Interfaith Pride Service
5:00 p.m. on the Chancel. Close out Pride Month with a service of prayer, music, reflection and commitment to continue to live out the values of God’s love, justice and inclusion in the world. All are welcome.
