On the 21st Sunday After Pentecost Sally Howard preaches at 7:30, 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. At 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. Canterbury Choir offers Ubi caritas by Duruflé and If Ye Love Me by Tallis.

Antonio Gallardo will preach at the 1:00 p.m. Spanish language service — with music by Dan Cole and the 1pm Ensemble.

Worship is the center of our life at All Saints Church — for it is from that center that we respond to God’s call to put our faith into action. Join us on Sunday and throughout the week as we work together to make God’s love tangible 24/7.

The Rector’s Forum: Harvesting Abundance: Church Agriculture and Food Justice

with Brian Sellers-Petersen and Sarah Nolan
Brian Sellers-Peterson
, former staff member and great friend of All Saints, will speak on the imperative of church agriculture, the stewardship of God’s creation and just food systems, and the importance of growing nutritious/local food and the positive impact on the environment. He will be joined by Sarah Nolan, Director of Programs & Community Partnerships at the Abundant Table Farm in Ventura, a progressive ministry of the Episcopal Church and an important example of what can be done to further this movement. Copies of Brian’s book, Harvesting Abundance, will be available for purchase. Forum.

Hebrew Bible: Contemporary Interpretive Issues
with Rabbi Heather Miller
In this four part series, Rabbi Miller will lead us through an exploration of the Hebrew Bible, engaging its genre, various interpretive issues, and its relevance to us today. This week we’ll discuss Contemporary Interpretive Issues. Guild Room.

Children’s Chapel in the Learning Center (9:00 and 11:15 a.m.)
Children K–5th grade join their families in church at the beginning services, then follow the banner out for Children’s Chapel before the sermon, returning for communion. Parents are always welcome to join us in Children’s Chapel.

Parking on Sundays
Sunday parking at Plaza Las Fuentes (Westin Hotel) is only validated until 1:00 p.m. — after which parking fees accrue. If you are attending the 1:00 p.m. Spanish Language/Bilingual Service or staying for an afternoon event, please park at the Kaiser parking structure, north of the church on the northeast corner of Euclid Ave. and Walnut, where the parking is free.
