Only days after the devastating 9/11 attacks, the late Rev. George F. Regas of All Saints Episcopal Church brought together Christians, Jews, Muslims, Quakers, humanists and people of many faiths and beliefs to establish Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace, with the mission that Religious Communities Must Stop Blessing War and Violence.
For 25 years, ICUJP has endured and spead our message through very trying times – five Presidents, four California Governors, and numerous crises and issues that would shake the resolve of even the most devout and dedicated of activists. But through it all, we go forward in our mission to be the voice for “the least of these”, and our determination to create the change we want to see in the world, no matter how vocal and effective the opposition can seem.
Please join us in celebrating this year’s recipients of the 2026 Rev. George F. Regas Courageous Peacemaker Awards, and lifting up our 25th anniversary and our long partnership with All Saints Episcopal Church.
